Holton pitched one inning before being replaced by Brenan Hanifee, who lasted 1⅔ innings before striking out Brant Hurter the bullpen gave it away. Hurter pitched 1⅔ innings before Beau Brieske entered the game in the fifth inning. Brieske made it in the sixth round before giving up Jackson Jobe in the seventh round.
