The Garland County Sheriff's Office makes an arrest in the Sept. 20 shooting

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) – The Garland County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call regarding a shooting reported at 132 Reveille Terrance in Royal, Arkansas.

GCSO officers responded to the scene and upon arrival found a deceased male.

He was later identified as Jonathon Huff and was found with an apparent gunshot wound, according to a news release.

Garland County investigators found that a group of people left the scene before officers arrived on the scene.

Arkansas State Police will work with the Garland County Sheriff's Office Tactical Response Team to locate those who fled.

One person was arrested by Sheriff's Office investigators on multiple warrants in connection with the shooting on September 30, 2024.
