Huntsville police are searching for a murder suspect

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Huntsville police are searching for the man responsible for killing another man months ago.

Huntsville police need help finding the suspect who shot and killed Kirk Urban in early August.

According to investigators, Urban was on the banks of the Tennessee River near Hobbs Island Road when he and another man argued on Sunday, August 4.

According to police, the man pulled out a gun and shot Urban.

Investigators believe he then drove off in a light-colored extended cab truck, possibly a Dodge Ram.

They also say a woman and two children were in the truck.

Our second case this week occurred between August 5th and September 12th.

Police say a man broke into several cars at Decatur-Morgan Hospital.

According to police, the suspect monitored the hospital's parking garage on 7th Street for more than a month.

Brandon Grinstead is wanted for theft by deception. Police say he stole a car and then sold it.

Belboa Baker is also wanted for theft by deception. They say he stole over $1,700.00 worth of checks and deposited them into his account.

Curtis Jefferson is charged with domestic violence – after he was involved in a domestic dispute.

Lamonte Tinney is accused of check forgery. She is wanted for possession of a forged instrument.

Katrina Burns is wanted for burglary. She is accused of breaking into a local business.
