Man injured after rollover crash in Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. – A man is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after a car crash Wednesday night.

At 7:16 p.m., officers from the Portland Police Bureau, Portland Fire and Rescue (PF&R), American Medical Response and the Oregon Department of Transportation responded to a crash on the ramp from westbound Interstate 84 to northbound Interstate 205.

When they arrived, they found a driver in the overturned car with life-threatening injuries. The unidentified driver was freed using hydraulic tools and transported to the hospital.

The ramp was closed during the investigation, police said. PF&R and the Gresham Fire Department clear the scene.

It is currently unknown what caused the accident and how long traffic will be affected.
