Motorcyclist seriously injured after crash in Merrimack

A motorcyclist was seriously injured after a crash in Merrimack on Wednesday afternoon. According to police, the accident occurred at the intersection of Bedford and Wire streets. According to police, an SUV allegedly struck the motorcycle and a pickup truck after approaching the intersection without stopping or slowing, causing the truck to roll over. The motorcyclist was taken to Elliot Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. Merrimack police are investigating the crash and said driver inattention appears to be a factor. The road was closed for several hours but has since been reopened.
