EBRSO deputy arrested on first-degree rape and other charges

DENHAM SPRINGS, La. (WAFB) – An East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office deputy was arrested on rape charges on Wednesday, October 2, according to officials.

According to authorities, 38-year-old Nicholas Locicero was arrested by the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office on two counts of first-degree rape and one count of sexual assault.

Locicero began his career with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff's Office. He then worked for the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office but was fired for “inappropriate behavior,” Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard said Wednesday evening. After his release from Livingston Parish, he was rehired by the EBR Sheriff's Office.

He was placed on administrative leave after EBRSO was informed of the allegations today. Locicero was released this evening before his arrest.
