Former EBRSO deputy arrested on two counts of first-degree rape

BATON ROUGE – A former East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office deputy was arrested in Livingston Parish on two counts of first-degree rape, according to the Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office.

According to LPSO, 38-year-old Nicholas LoCicero of Denham Springs was booked into the Livingston Parish Jail on the above charges as well as one count of sexual assault.

According to the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office, LoCicero was hired in 2022 and spent the majority of his EBRSO employment with uniform patrol. After EBRSO was informed of the allegations, he was placed on administrative leave and fired Wednesday evening.

LoCicero was dismissed from the LPSO in March 2022 for “inappropriate conduct” or unsatisfactory job performance.

LPSO said the investigation involved juveniles. The investigation is ongoing.
