EBRSO deputy accused of sexual abuse of minor, arrested

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) – The Livingston Parish Sheriff's Office has arrested an East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office deputy charged with first-degree rape and sexual assault.

Nicholas LoCicero, 38, of Denham Springs was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree rape and one count of sexual assault.

“What I can tell you is that during our investigation, investigators conducted forensic interviews with the juvenile victims who named Nicholas LoCicero as the perpetrator,” said Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard.

Search warrants and arrest warrants were executed. According to LPSO, investigators are working to assist the victims in this case.

According to EBRSO, LoCicero was hired in June 2022 and spent the majority of his employment with uniform patrol. After EBRSO was informed of the allegations, he was placed on administrative leave.

According to EBRSO, LoCicero was released Wednesday evening before his arrest. This is an ongoing investigation.
