Viewers are demanding a second series of the new crime drama as they describe it as “the best series the BBC has made in years”.

Viewers of a new crime drama have dubbed the show the BBC's “best series” in “years” and are raving about the six-part comedy online.

It feels like new TV shows are popping up everywhere these days, and with so many streaming platforms to choose from, it's easy to get overwhelmed.

However, the idea of ​​a crime drama with a comedic element is rare to begin with, and it's even rarer for it to be executed well – but it looks like the BBC have nailed it with their brand new take on the genre.

With Peep shows David Mitchell, the actor, takes on the role of puzzle designer John “Ludwig” Taylor, who must impersonate his successful twin brother, Detective Chief Inspector James Taylor, to solve the mystery behind his sudden disappearance.

The series is called Ludwig – was only released on September 25th, but fans have already taken to social media to sing its praises and express their hope for a second season.
