Details of alleged attacks come from unnamed sources

The woman, a successful New York lawyer named “Jane,” has not yet commented on the allegations.

The three friends who spoke to him Daily Mail provided photos of Emhoff with “Jane” and other documents confirming her travel to France at the time of the alleged incident.

The incident is said to have occurred just a year before he met Harris on a blind date. The couple began dating in 2013 and married in August 2014.

Emhoff's image as an ally of women is being questioned

One of her friends, a male businessman, claimed that “Jane” called him in her taxi immediately after the incident, sobbing.

He claimed Emhoff entered the taxi and was with her when she made the call.

The friend further explained that “Jane” told him about the incident because she wanted “Doug to see her on the phone and tell someone” in the hopes that it would provide some protection.

Second friend confirms details of alleged attack

A second friend, another New York-based lawyer, described how “Jane” was “taken completely by surprise” by Emhoff's sudden attack and how she tried to leave after the attack but Emhoff forced his way into the taxi with her.

“He pulled her up and hit her so hard… She said she was completely shocked,” she said Daily Mail.

“She was so angry that she hit him on one side and then hit him on the other cheek with her other hand.”

Emhoff admitted to cheating on his first wife

The bombshell allegations came just two months after Emhoff admitted to cheating on his first wife after a report claimed he allegedly impregnated the nanny.

“I took on responsibility, and in the years that followed, we handled things as a family and came out stronger on the other side,” said Emhoff CNN in August.

The romance was revealed to President Joe Biden's vetting committee four years ago, before Harris was chosen as his running mate in 2020.
