Start times announced for Phillies' NLDS Games 1 and 2 at Citizens Bank Park

With Red October just days away, we now know the start times of the Phillies' National League Division Series, which will begin their playoff run.

Saturday's first game at Citizens Bank Park begins at 4:08 p.m. and will air locally on Fox29, MLB announced Tuesday. Game 2 on Sunday also starts at 4:08 p.m. but will air on FS1. The Phillies await their NLDS opponent and will face the winner of the NL wild card series of the New York Mets and Milwaukee Brewers (the Mets won Game 1 8-4).

The Phillies have not yet announced their starter for Game 1. They have been using their time off to stay competitive and will play an intrasquad game on Wednesday to keep their bats from going cold until Saturday.

Game 1 of the other NLDS series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the NL wild card series winner Atlanta Braves and San Diego Padres begins Saturday at 8:38 p.m. and will air on FS1. Game 2 on Sunday starts at 8:03 p.m. and will also be broadcast on FS1.
