Blackpink's Jennie debuts her blonde hairstyle at Chanel's Paris Fashion Week Spring 2025 show

Blackpink's Jennie joined a bevy of stars, celebrities and A-list guests at the Chanel show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday. The K-pop star styled a new blonde hairstyle while sitting front row for the French luxury fashion house's Spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection.

Upon her arrival, Jennie's blonde hair stood out against the light blue Chanel look she was wearing. Combining fall essentials with a touch of spring flair, Jennie wore a light blue long-sleeved sweater with a belt at the waist. She paired the sweater with short shorts, sheer black tights and black heels.

Jennie accessorized her outfit with a necklace of Chanel pearls and a small top handle bag. The singer and rapper waved as the cameras flashed as she arrived at the Spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection show.

Jennie starred in the campaign for the Chanel Première Édition Originale watch last March. The images for the campaign were shot by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin in Paris. Jennie has been a brand ambassador for Chanel since 2017.

Ahead of the French luxury fashion house's show at Paris Fashion Week, WWD learned that there would be “no immediate announcement” about Chanel's next designer. “It's going to be a while, and right now I have no idea when that might change,” Bruno Pavlovsky, president of fashion and president of Chanel SAS, told WWD, according to Booth Moore's pre-show report.

The Spring 2025 ready-to-wear collection show is the label's first without a creative director, following the departure of Virginie Viard last June. This collection favored designs that seemingly referenced Karl Lagerfeld.

“It wasn't quite as big as his rocket or iceberg, but it was an appropriately imposing white birdcage, inspired by a 1991 Coco fragrance ad in which Vanessa Paradis trilled like a canary on a giant swing,” Moore wrote in her review for WWD.

“After a week of rain, beautiful blue skies preceded a gathering rooted in flight. Almost every look was tufted and trimmed with feathers, both real and tattered chiffon and tulle petals.”
