What's the trend?

The Pitch Challenge is a filter that requires the user to sing at the correct pitch to get the orange ball through the holes.

In some ways, it's similar to 2014's viral hit Flappy Bird, like having to fit through a space – but instead of tapping the screen, you use your voice.

Depending on whether you sing too high or too low, the ball won't go through unless you have the perfect pitch.

Various celebrities and influencers have shown how perfect their pitch is, for example a TV personality Zara McDermott – who didn’t make a single mistake in her video.

But artist, boxer and sidemen member KSI didn't have much success with this trend – even though he released several songs himself.

In the first quarter of his video on Sidemen's TikTok, he doesn't even manage to get the ball through the first hole – Thu.

Other TikTokers found it hilarious when one user commented: “Isn't he a singer!”

Another compared him to musical prodigy Charlie Puth, writing: “Charlie Puth who?”

How can you do it?

On TikTok under one of the videos from the challengeClick on the Perfect Pitch Challenge filter to access it.

Then record your own video of the trend to see whether you have the perfect pitch – or not.

Where does Do Re Mi come from?

When some follow the Do Re Mi trend, the first thing they might think of is the catchy song Julie Andrews sang in the 1959 film “Sound of Music.”

“Maebe is just a glorified PLT,” Molly Mae fans rage after discovering that PrettyLittleThing’s clothes are actually made from “better quality” materials

But the Do Re Mi itself is every syllable of the musical solfege system.

This is a mnemonic, or learning technique, that uses syllables to identify musical notes instead of letters.

This is because the syllables are easier to sing than the note names.
