Greenville: Fatal motorcycle accident

A motorcyclist died in a crash in Greenville County, South Carolina on Wednesday evening. The accident occurred on Augusta Road around 8:30 p.m. The South Carolina Highway Patrol said a car was traveling south and a motorcycle was traveling north. Troopers said the car attempted to turn left onto Old Augusta Road and was struck by the motorcycle. The coroner identified the motorcyclist as 26-year-old Alexander Joseph Fields. He died in hospital.

The accident occurred on Augusta Road around 8:30 p.m.
