The Oppo Find X8 design has been leaked as live images surfaced online ahead of the launch

Oppo Find X8 and Oppo Find X8 Pro may be heading to India soon. While several details and images of the handsets have been leaked in the last few months, live images of the Oppo Find X8 have leaked online. Aside from these images, the Find X8 has also appeared on some certification websites, suggesting an imminent launch in some countries. The Oppo Find X8 series is set to launch in its home market later this month.

A post on Weibo (via GSMArena) reportedly revealed a photo of the upcoming Oppo Find X8. The phone's design differs from last year's Find X7 with a simplified approach. It appears to confirm details discovered in a previous leak (which now appears to be incorrectly labeled as the Oppo Find X8 by the source). While the tipster doesn't reveal any new details about the phone alongside the image, the device looks different and appears to have an Apple-inspired design.

The device in the live image (according to the source, the Find X8) has flat sides with a matte, color-matched frame. The back is completely flat and the phone has a circular camera module at the top. The camera island features Hasselblad branding with the “H” logo surrounded by three cameras placed at the top and on each side.

It appears to be significantly different from the previously leaked live image, which was tagged as Oppo Find X8. The phone was shown to have a similar overall design approach but features a square rear camera module. According to a report by GizmoChina, Oppo's Find X8 has also appeared on India's BIS certification website, suggesting that it could be launching soon. The phone was also spotted in Indonesia's SDPPI database, suggesting a launch in India and Indonesia soon after the launch in China.

The Oppo Find X8 Pro was recently listed on the Indian BIS certification website with model number CPH2659. The Oppo Find X8 is said to be listed under the model number CPH2651. This also means that both of Oppo's Find X8 series flagship devices could head to India after launching in China. Oppo is expected to announce three flagship camera-centric devices this year. Unlike last year, this range is expected to include the Find X8, the Find X8 Pro and a top-end Find X8 Ultra. Or Oppo could launch last year's Find X7 Ultra successor as the Find X8 Pro.
