Govinda misfire incident: Actor's wife Sunita Ahuja gives new health update

Bollywood actor Govinda injured himself in a gunshot misfire incident on Tuesday. The actor was immediately rushed to the Mumbai hospital and has been under observation since then. Several Bollywood celebs, including his long-time friend and filmmaker David Dhawan, were at the hospital to meet the actor. Now, Govinda, Shiv Sena leader and actor wife Sunita Ahuja has given a new health update on his health condition. She also revealed the day the actor will be discharged from the hospital.

What did Sunita Ahuja say?

Sunita Ahuja came out of the hospital in Mumbai to give a fresh update on Govinda's health condition. She said that the actor is fine now and feels much better. “He will most likely be released tonight or tomorrow,” said the actor’s wife. Sunita also added that since it was the first day of Navaratri, she prayed for the well-being of Govinda and then came to the hospital.

The accident occurred on Tuesday morning

This incident happened yesterday with actor Govinda at his residence in Juhu, Mumbai. The actor left Mumbai for Kolkata at around 4:45 am. He wanted to take part in a show. Meanwhile, he was holding the revolver in his hand when it suddenly slipped out of his hand and it misfired. The bullet hit the actor's left leg near the knee. Govinda was immediately rushed to the hospital. During treatment, the bullet was removed from his leg and his life is now out of danger.

As soon as the news of Govinda's shooting came, the actor's nephew Krushna's wife Kashmera Shah was the first to reach the hospital. Yesterday, Krushna's sister, Govinda's niece Aarti, was also seen outside the hospital to meet her uncle. Aarti reached the hospital with her husband Deepak Chauhan to meet her uncle.
