Suspected fentanyl dealer arrested in Cedar Park

CEDAR PARK, Texas (KXAN) — Authorities in Williamson County arrested a man believed to be a fentanyl dealer earlier this week.

The Williamson County Sheriff's Office said its Organized Crime Unit executed a search warrant Monday for a “suspected fentanyl dealer” in the 1700 block of Bagdad Road in Cedar Park.

According to WCSO, officers seized approximately 19.5 grams of suspected crack cocaine and approximately 8.5 grams of suspected fentanyl during their search.

WCSO arrested 38-year-old Demarcus Tennison, who is accused of manufacturing and delivering fentanyl and crack cocaine.

According to the sheriff's office, Tennison has an “extensive arrest record,” including approximately 29 additional drug charges, six burglaries, 40 trespassing incidents, five counts of evading/resisting arrest, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm and four counts of impersonation, among several other felonies .
