Padres pitcher Joe Musgrove left in the fourth inning with an elbow injury.

“I don't know what the future holds for me right now, but I know I'm going to give it every chance I have and I'm going to do whatever I have to do to get back here at some point,” Musgrove said .

Musgrove threw a curveball to Atlanta's Matt Olson for strike on his 44th and final pitch of the night. As he prepared to throw his next pitch, Musgrove extended his arm upward and later shook his right arm. As Musgrove put his arms up again, catcher Kyle Higashioka charged to the mound.
