Rapper Lucas Coly dies at the age of 27

French-American rapper Lucas Coly, who rose to fame on social media nearly a decade ago, has died at age 27, his talent agency said Thursday.

Coly's agency, I Discover Stars, wrote on Instagram Thursday that Coly had died, but his cause of death was not revealed.

Coly's manager, who is not named on the agency's social media accounts, wrote in the post that he had a “hole in my heart,” adding in a separate Facebook post that he was “shortly before” his death I spoke to Coly on the phone.

On Wednesday, Coly wrote a message on Instagram that read, “I love you all.”
