He delivered for the Brewers and then some. Just two years ago, in his seventh minor league season, Myers went 1-15 with a 7.82 ERA in Class AAA, falling to three teams.

The Brewers signed him and now, two years later, he is the team's best pitcher.

He pitched his first big league game on April 23 and never left the rotation. He started in 25 games and was instrumental in stabilizing the rotation.

The 26-year-old Myers led the Brewers' starters with a 3.00 ERA and had the best ERA in baseball during a three-month period beginning in June. For the season, he had a WHIP of 1.17, posted 127 strikeouts, and finished the season with a 9-6 record.
