Titans' Mason Rudolph criticizes Amanda Vance's DM exchange: 'Frame job'

Mason Rudolph has cleared the air in a viral direct message exchange with social media influencer Amanda Vance.

Vance and her boyfriend Joey Mauriello, both endorsers of Jake Paul's gambling platform Betr, attended the Titans-Dolphins game in Miami Gardens on Monday, where Rudolph filled in for injured starting quarterback Will Levis en route to a 31-12 win .

Mauriello is a Dolphins fan, and in the second half of the game, Vance shared a direct message, supposedly from Rudolph, asking if she was still in Miami.

In a video shared on Instagram, Mauriello lamented that he “had to see something about a quarterback in my girlfriend's DMs while I watch him absolutely sell my Dolphins money line.” [bet].”

Vance admonished her friend for warning him that Rudolph was actually good.

The video seemed to imply that the DMs were new, although the caption was honest that the exchange had taken place “months ago.”

Rudolph appeared on Fox Sports Radio's “Doug Gottlieb Show” on Tuesday and revealed that Vance, a fan of the Steelers for whom he previously played, had actually messaged him first and that his flirtation was merely a reaction.

“It wasn’t an uninvited slide into her direct messages?” Gottlieb asked.

“No, it was a reaction and that was about eight months ago,” Rudolph clarified. “It definitely wasn't the time between second down and third down, that's for sure…”

As Gottlieb laughed, Rudolph continued, “But a good framing job. A good frame work for a few 15 seconds of fame I guess.”

Rudolph didn't have sparkling stats against the Dolphins – he was 9 of 17 for 85 yards and no touchdown passes – but the Titans won the game with a bang.
