Porto – Manchester United – at the latest in the UEFA Europa League when Harry Maguire heads the late equalizer for the visitors

MAGUIRE SALVAGE POINT FOR UNITED

Substitute Harry Maguire saved a point for ten-man Manchester United in a 3-3 draw at Porto.

United coach Erik Ten Hag had expected a calm performance from his team after Sunday's heavy defeat at Tottenham.

Goals from Marcus Rashford and Rasmus Hojlund had given the visitors a clear lead against Porto, who had lost their opening UEFA Europa League game.

But then the visitors' defense let their manager down as Pepê conceded a goal and Omorodion equalized before half-time.

When Rashford was substituted at half-time, Omorodion seemingly gave Porto the winning goal.

Things looked even worse for Ten Hag when captain Bruno Fernandes was sent off for his second high foot of the game.

However, in the 91st minute, substitute Maguire saved the equalizer with a header from a corner from Christian Eriksen.
