While it may be hard to believe, it's been almost a full year since Patrick Dempsey was named PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive of 2023, and it's almost time for him to hand the crown to another equally sexy man passes on to begin his reign. (Although many previous Sexiest Man Alive winners ask, you'll probably never answer really give up the title.)

Yes, there are exactly 40 days until the official reveal of Sexiest Man Alive on November 12th, and while we're not giving any hints –still – We have lots of fun planned to get the engines revving before the big day.

Every day until November 12th, we're bringing you a sexy moment on our website and social media to start your day or entertain you on your lunch break. (Consider yourself warned, lest you get caught in the cafe wondering if it's hot in here or if it's just your Instagram feed.)

We will look back at some of the 50 beauties we have named teenage people Sexiest Ever list in 2004, and I even caught up with some of them. Some of your favorite Hallmark guys will stop by our office and give us a sneak peek at what to expect from their vacation schedule. (Hint: It'll be sexy and sweet, like hot cocoa by the fire.) We'll release the results of our reader poll and finally see if Jimmy Fallon and Role Model's campaigns inspiring and raving fans brought them to victory.

We get advice from old favorites and take a look at the newest guys throwing their hats into the ring (we see you, Will Ferrell). And then, on November 12th, we'll bring you a hot new “Sexiest Man Alive” and all the fun, sexy shots from the issue.
