Time to rock with Caleb Landry Jones! These two animated music videos first premiered last month, but we're just now catching up with them – and they're pretty darn cool to miss. In addition to acting (in DogMan, harvest), Caleb Landry Jones also has a rock band and also makes music. His latest album is called “Hey Gary, Hey Dawn” and is available to listen to now if you’re curious. To celebrate the release of a new deluxe edition, CLJ has created two short music videos featuring some eclectic drawings animated and brought to life. The drawings are by CLJ himself and were converted into music videos by the said animator Aidan Stadler. The videos only last about a minute each and are very entertaining to watch – check them both out below. “With a blend of intensity, vulnerability and musical virtuosity, Jones invites listeners to embark on a journey that transcends traditional genres and promises an immersive experience that lingers long after the final note.” 🎸

Thanks to Jim for the tip on this. The above two music videos refer to songs from the deluxe version of Caleb Landry Jones' latest music album titled Hey Gary, Hey Dawn (Details here). “Landry Jones is known as a multi-instrumentalist who creates complex cinematic works on the fringes of prog. He's breaking new ground with his conscious focus on live performances for his latest album.” These videos feature drawings by Caleb Landry Jones – Follow him on IG @caleblandryjonesmusic or on his Bandcamp here. And with animation from a Brooklyn-based animator/filmmaker Aidan Stadler – Follow him on IG @aidanstadler and check out more of his work on his YouTube page. The album “Hey Gary, Hey Dawn” is described as “a testament to the artistic evolution of Caleb Landry Jones,” demonstrating his ability to push boundaries while maintaining a distinct and indescribable quality.
