Is it related to Venom 3?

King in Black is a huge crossover event in the comics involving many superheroes, not just Spider-Man. The name refers to Knull, the series' big villain who is hell-bent on destroying the universe.

It happens that Knull appears in Poison 3 End of October. Any recent leaks that linked them Poison 3 And Spider Man 4 suggested that Knull will move to the MCU. He will pursue the part of Venom that remained in the main reality afterward No way home.

Knull is the creator of the symbiotes and a massive threat to Venom's universe. However, he could become a multiversal threat if he moves to the MCU.

However, Knull cannot be the big villain of the MCU. That role went to Robert Downey Jr. He will play a version of Doctor Doom that follows this reality after Avengers.

Suppose RDJ's Doom begins destroying the multiverse End of the world; it could pave the way for that Poison 3 version of Knull to traverse the multiverse to the Earth-616 reality. Of course, that assumes the main MCU reality doesn't have its own Knull.

Personally, I hope so Spider Man 4 will have a more mysterious title than King in Black and a less ambitious story. Perhaps King in Black is merely a placeholder title intended to explore and test the situation.
