The incidents are said to have occurred in 2019. Brooks' legal team has so far denied the allegations and even filed a lawsuit right before Roe.

Garth Brooks is accused of sexual assault

As the music industry reels from the recent arrest of Sean “Diddy” Combs, another prominent figure is embroiled in a growing wave of sexual abuse lawsuits. The Grammy-winning country star is accused of not only assaulting his makeup artists, but also repeatedly exposing himself, discussing sexual fantasies and sending explicit text messages.

The lawsuit, obtained by CNN, alleges that these incidents occurred in 2019. Roe, who began working with Brooks as his hairdresser and makeup artist in 2017, originally joined his team in 1999 to provide services for his wife, Trisha Yearwood, as detailed in the report.

Allegations against Garth Brooks

According to the lawsuit, a 2019 incident alleges Garth Brooks, 62, walked out of the shower naked, grabbed the woman's hands and pressed them to his genitals while speaking to her in sexually explicit and inappropriate language .

In another case from May 2019, the lawsuit says Brooks sexually assaulted Jane Roe, who goes by Jane Roe, in a Los Angeles hotel room while she was on a business trip for a Grammy tribute show.

The complaint states that Roe and Brooks flew to Los Angeles together on his private plane and she was surprised to find they were the only ones there. When Roe arrived at the hotel, she said she was shocked that Brooks had booked a one-bedroom suite for her with no separate accommodations. She feels trapped and claims that Brooks showed up naked in the doorway and she felt vulnerable and alone with him.

The lawsuit says Brooks made “repeated comments” about having “a threesome” with his wife and continued to commit assault and battery after the rape, including “groping her and telling her sexual fantasies.”

Garth Brooks denies the allegations

“The defendant’s allegations are not true. However, “defendant is well aware of the significant, irreparable harm such false allegations would cause to plaintiff's well-deserved reputation as a decent and caring human being,” Brooks previously denied the claims, according to CNN. “Along with the inevitable harm to his family and the irreparable harm to his career and livelihood that would result if she followed through on her threat to 'publicly file,'” the statement continued.

Garth Brooks claims that the allegations of sexual misconduct arose after he rejected defendant Roe's request for paid employment and medical benefits.

But Roe's lawyers contend that Brooks' preemptive lawsuit in Mississippi was a desperate attempt to intimidate and silence their client. They expressed confidence that Brooks would be held accountable for his actions and praised their client for her courage to move forward. “The complaint filed today shows that sexual predators exist not only in corporate America, in Hollywood and in the rap and rock and roll industries, but also in the world of country music.”
