A TikTok user named Katie Santry has gained thousands of followers this week as people around the world follow the developments of a discovery in their backyard.

Katie made a video on Sunday (September 29) in which she explains that she believes her house is haunted because unexplained things have been happening at home and she discovered a rolled up carpet underground in her backyard is buried.

Ultimately, Katie called the police and had them investigate the matter, but the police concluded that they did not have enough time to investigate.

“If I dig in one direction, I'll come across a rock fire pit that would ruin everything. If I dig the other way, just two feet from the ground, there’s a bush that’s taller than me – about a 10-foot bush.” Katie told People.

“I really don’t think there’s a body down there,” she added. “The curiosity as to why this carpet is there definitely haunts me. But my biggest worry is my computer because at the end of the day it broke for no apparent reason. That leaves me with the most question marks. I actually have a psychic who has reached out to me and wants to do a reading.”

Well, there has been a big development.

Homicide detectives in Columbus, Ohio, sent investigators there with cadaver dogs Katieis home on Thursday (October 3) and she documented her search.

A spokesman for the Columbus Division of Police confirmed the presence of detectives and cadaver dogs at Santry's home, but said there were “no conclusive results” yet. The officers will stay in the house overnight.
