Chicago accident: Cyclist hits CTA bus near West 26th Street at South Kedzie Avenue in Little Village, firefighters say

CHICAGO (WLS) – On Thursday evening, a cyclist crashed into a CTA bus in the southwest part of the city.

The collision occurred near West 26th Street and South Kedzie Avenue in Little Village around 6:22 p.m., a Chicago Fire Department spokesman said.

A person was riding a bicycle when they crashed into the back corner of an eastbound No. 52 Kedzie bus, a CTA spokesman said.

The cyclist was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in good condition, fire officials said. Her age and gender were initially not known.
