Never-before-seen moments from Eminem's “Temporary” music video

Eminem's new music video is sure to tug at the heartstrings.

On Thursday, October 3, the rapper released a heartfelt music video for his song “Temporary,” dedicated to his now 28-year-old daughter Hailie Jade Scott.

The five-minute music video features old photos and footage of Hailie Jade – whom he welcomed with ex-girlfriend Kim Scott in 1995 when she was 23 – as she grew up. In the end she reveals to Eminem that she is pregnant.

In “Temporary,” Eminem, 51, says his biggest fear is “not being able to say everything I want to say to you when I’m no longer here” — so he does just that.

The song, which features vocals from Skylar Gray, was featured on Eminem's latest studio album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace).

From the sweet moments as a young girl to the emotional exchange on her wedding day, here are all the never-before-seen moments in the “Temporary” music video.

The father-daughter photo slideshow

In the first 30 seconds of the music video, photos of Hailie Jade as a little girl flash across the screen.

The photos range from baby pictures to father-daughter shots to silly moments from her childhood.

Later in the video, Eminem shares footage of simple moments with Hailie Jade – like her dancing, her fall on a snowboard, in class, on her birthday and her graduation day.

A glimpse into their wedding day

At about the two-minute mark, Eminem appears in the video wearing a suit and tie as he climbs a flight of stairs.

He then greets his daughter for the first look on her wedding day and immediately hugs her deeply.

After taking a close look at her in her wedding dress, Eminem bursts into tears.

Later in the video, Hailie Jade gives him a gift in the same room. The gift came with a note, and Hailie Jade smiles as he reads the note. When he's done, he gets emotional again and hugs her tightly again.

Viewers then see footage of Eminem walking Hailie Jade down the aisle and finally handing her off to her husband Evan McClintock.

At the end, the duo is seen performing their father-daughter dance at the wedding.

The pregnancy reveal

In a clip in the video, Hailie Jade presents Eminem with a Detroit Lions football jersey that says “Grandpa” and the number 1 on the back.

She also hands him an ultrasound image, which leaves him visibly shocked, jaw dropped and eyes wide.

The sweet card

At the end there is an enlarged view of the card that Hailie Jade gave Eminem on her wedding day.

The text on the card read: “…for no matter how many years pass, in my heart there will always be the little girl who loves and needs her father.”

Then the camera pans to the note she wrote inside.

“Dad, I got this card a few years ago and kept it and now is the perfect time to give it to you. Thanks for everything you do and for always being there for all of us, girl. You truly are the best dad ever.” “I love you forever + $100 million forever and ever,” she wrote, signing the bottom of the card “Bean.”
