'Love Is Blind' Season 7 Star Leo Now: Instagram, Job, Spoilers

  • Season 7 of Love Is Blind features singles from the Washington, DC area.
  • One of these singles is Leo, an art dealer who makes several contacts in the pods.
  • Here's what we know about what happened to Leo after filming.

Warning: Spoilers for the sixth episode of the seventh season of “Love Is Blind”.

“Love Is Blind” is back – and has found its latest polarizing character.

That would be Leo, a 31-year-old art dealer whose biggest dating insecurity is that a woman might only be interested in him because of his wealth. He deals with this in the pods by not hiding either his lucrative career or his considerable personal wealth – and the show's editing picks up on this gratuitously.

Unfortunately, joining Love Is Blind means your dating gaffes and personal quirks will be exposed to a huge audience. Netflix's dating franchise has millions of views: According to the platform's own information, the sixth season recorded 20.9 million views (hours watched divided by total running time) in the first half of the year. Undoubtedly, the flagship series has boosted the streamer's profitability, with Netflix's stock prices hitting an all-time high of $725 this month.

To be fair to Leo, he takes his unfavorable cut on the show in stride and posts jokes about releasing his tax returns on social media. Although he wasn't one of the cast members who made it to the couple's Mexico vacation (more on that later), he's still one of the most memorable parts of the season so far.

Here's what we know about where he is today.

Leo forms two bonds in the pods, but the experience ends badly for him

When Leo addresses the pod part of Love Is Blind that hides his appearance, he tells the other male cast members in episode one that he is not on the show to boost his own profile.

“I grew up very financially well off,” he said. “I’m not trying to build an influencer career. I'm a damn rich art dealer. I grew up going to a country club and going to private school. My college was paid for.”

Leo forms close bonds with 33-year-old beautician Brittany, who wants to be cared for in a relationship, and 26-year-old Hannah, who quit her job to appear on the show. In the second episode, he tells Brittany that he feels equally secure in his relationship with her and with Hannah.

Ultimately this leads to tension. In episode three, after Leo asks Brittany what type of ring she might like, she criticizes his indecision after he tells her that he planned to have the same conversation with Hannah.

For a moment, it seems like the problem will resolve itself after Hannah tells Leo in episode three that she and Nick D., another cast member, have confessed their love for each other. Leo doesn't take the attempted breakup well and wants to know if Hannah would agree to marry him if he asked at that moment, moving her to tears.

During another meeting in episode four, Hannah and Leo agree to end their relationship after Hannah tells him that she has stronger feelings for Nick. Leo asks Hannah to tell Brittany that their breakup was mutual so Brittany doesn't think she's his second choice. Hannah refuses – but does Tell Brittany he asked her to do this.

In episode four, Brittany tells Leo that she is still “hurt” by how he handled his relationships with her and Hannah. Leo tries to propose, but Brittany rejects him and tells him to ask again. In episode five he tries again and she says yes.

However, when the two meet at their unveiling, the tension is palpable. Brittany still can't tell Leo she loves him, and the couple agree that if they aren't chosen for the series' couples trip to Mexico, they will travel to Miami together instead.

It shouldn't have been Mexico, and neither should this couple.

“Brittany and Leo were not among the six couples selected by producers to continue their journey in Mexico,” reads an on-screen card immediately after Leo and Brittany meet in person for the first time. “They took their own trip to Miami and called off their engagement weeks later.”

Leo and Brittany's relationship “didn't work out” after Episode 6.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly published on Wednesday, Brittany explained how her relationship with Leo developed after filming wrapped and how it ultimately ended.

Brittany told EW that she and Leo spent two days in Los Angeles, where the pods are filmed, before heading to Miami. And although they had “a blast” on the trip, after a few days they realized their relationship wasn’t going to work out.

“Nothing big happened,” Brittany told EW. “Honestly, I wish there were sometimes because maybe there would be a better explanation for why things didn't work out. It's just like that, you know when it's right and you just know when it's not, and then we're better off friends.”

She told EW that their split was “mutual” and “nothing crazy happened” when they decided to part ways.

Leo made fun of himself on the show after the premiere

On Instagram, Leo doesn't take things too seriously. After Netflix posted a video of him making kissing noises on the show – “mwah mwah mwah mwah mwah” – he reposted it to his own Instagram Story.

“Listen to it again and again if you're interested in losing your sanity,” he captioned the post.

On Wednesday, Leo posted a screenshot of an exchange with reality TV blogger Reality Ashley that discussed his net worth.

“Release my tax returns?” he asked in a survey.

Ashley's two texts below say: ""Ok, Leo, we need to put a number on all this money. What is your net worth? I'm sure you've been asked this a lot today." There is a survey about the texts that are read "release my tax return?"

Leo also posted a video on Instagram reacting to Netflix changing his Instagram bio to “art dealer,” referring to him on the show.

“I thought about it, and shows and cinema are art. And Netflix sells us shows and movies. So in a way they are art dealers too,” he said in the video. “From one rich art dealer to another richer art dealer, you know, respect.”

Leo still works at his family's business based in New York City

According to the company website, Leo runs his family's art business, Capital Art Advisory, which he took over in 2015 and moved to New York City, where Brittany told EW he now lives. He serves both domestic and international clients and also advises on NFT collections.

He's active on Instagram, where he's followed by other cast members, including Hannah and Brittany (although he still follows both of them, by the way).

Leo regularly posts videos on Instagram and TikTok about topics from the art world, such as price negotiations and whether the woman in da Vinci's famous Mona Lisa painting is smiling.

He also promoted “Love Is Blind” on Instagram and gave a preview of the seventh season with his cast portrait.

“'Hey Leo, how was your love life?'” he captioned the video.

The next episodes of Love Is Blind season 7 will air on Wednesday, October 9th Netflix.
