Galaxy S25 leaks reveal a slimmer design

SEOUL, (TDI): Leaked images of a dummy model for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 suggest that the 2025 flagship may be even more compact than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24.

The leak, shared by xleaks7 in collaboration with VeePN, shows an aluminum dummy designed based on early measurements, likely made for accessory manufacturers in advance of the official release. Although these dimensions are not confirmed specifications, they provide valuable insight into Samsung's direction for the new model.

According to the leak, the Galaxy S25 is expected to measure 146.94 x 70.46 x 7.25 mm, making it slightly smaller than the Galaxy S24, which measures 147 x 70.6 x 7.6 mm. Although this decline is seemingly minimal, it is in line with Samsung's ongoing strategy of offering compact flagship devices in a market increasingly dominated by larger smartphones.

However, speculation suggests that the Galaxy S25 could mark the end of Samsung's compact flagship range. There may not be a Galaxy S26 planned for 2026, according to reports, raising questions about the future of smaller models in Samsung's lineup. In contrast, early leaks for the Galaxy S25 Ultra reveal a significantly larger device measuring 162.82 x 77.65 x 8.25 mm, further highlighting the possible shift in focus towards larger smartphones.

For enthusiasts who appreciate smaller flagship devices, the Galaxy S25 should be a notable release. With Samsung potentially moving away from compact models in future releases, the Galaxy S25 could represent one of the last opportunities to own a smaller flagship from the tech giant.

As the official launch approaches, consumers and tech enthusiasts alike will be watching closely to see how Samsung balances size, functionality and design in its flagship offerings.
