Suspect was arrested when he shot a man on his bike in downtown Fresno

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — A man is in jail in connection with a fatal shooting in Fresno.

On Thursday, authorities announced the arrest of 41-year-old Ronald Ebanez for the murder of Ricardo Olguin.

Last month, officers responded to a shotgun call in Floradora near Cedar in downtown Fresno.

When they arrived, they found Olguin lying next to his bike… with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to hospital where he later died.

Authorities identified Ebanez as a suspect and he is currently facing murder charges.

A motive for the shooting and the suspect's relationship to Olguin were not disclosed.
