Where to buy tickets, best prices

Finally it happened.

The New York Mets will play the Philadelphia Phillies for the first time in the postseason always.

Carlos Mendozas Grimace loving The scrappy club advanced to the NLDS after winning a thrilling three-game wild card series against the Brewers in the most heroic of fashion.

With his back against the wall, down 2-0 in the bottom of the ninth, slumping slugger Pete Alonso hit a three-run home run that gave the Mets the lead. Soon after, Starling Marte hit another run and David Peterson ended the high-stakes game, giving the Amazins the win.

However, everything is now reset to zero.

The Mets and Phillies – who played 13 times during the regular season, with the Phillies winning seven of those games – begin their best-of-five series at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia with game one on Saturday, October 5.

Game two is scheduled for Sunday, October 6th.

The NL East rivals then travel to Queens for two Citi Field contests. Game three will take place on Tuesday, October 8th. Should the series go to the fourth game, the clubs will face each other on Wednesday, October 9th.

A hypothetical Game Five will be played at the Phillies' Citizens Bank Park on Friday, October 11th.

“Philadelphia-Mets playoff baseball is going to be intense,” Mets outfielder Brandon Nimmo said. “And both fan bases, I mean, that’s exactly what you want, right? I’m really happy about it.”

If you want to catch Alonso, Francisco Lindor, Brandon Nimmo, Mark Vientos, Luis Severino and the Mets live at home or on the road, tickets are available for all five NLDS games.

At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find for tickets to the two Citi Field games was $175 before Vivid Seat fees.
