Goth college volleyball player is going viral and fans are raving about Boise State's “gothlet” Nora Hayd

Boise State beach volleyball player Nora Hayd has become a social media sensation after fans took notice of her goth style.

A picture of the team lineup went viral on social media after Hayd posed for her annual photo in full goth makeup.

It was a stark contrast to the rest of her teammates, but fans loved Hayd's style on social media.

In the picture, Hayd is wearing white paint on her face, red and black hair, lipstick and a number of piercings on her face.

“You don’t see many gothlets,” one fan posted on social media.

“Do they sell jerseys?” “It's paramount that I get merch,” another added.

A third posted: “I'm suddenly the biggest Boise St volleyball fan.”

Others commented that they were now “obsessed” with Hayd and that “she's amazing.”

Hayd's profile on the team's website says she is a sophomore and previously attended Bothell High School in Washington.

She also played for the DaKine Volleyball Club and was on the 2020 and 2021 AVCA Phenom List, which recognizes up-and-coming high school volleyball student-athletes.
