Dickens Man and his brother were arrested on charges related to the Jan. 6 breach of the U.S. Capitol

A northwest Iowa man and his brother from Utah were arrested on charges related to the Jan. 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol.

According to a press release from the U.S. Department of Justice, 50-year-old Earl Jordan, of Dickens, and 48-year-old Christopher Jordan, of St. George, Utah, are charged in a criminal complaint filed in the District of Columbia with assault, resisting or obstructing certain officers, and obstructing the Law enforcement during a riot. The two men were also charged with misdemeanors: knowingly entering or remaining in a restricted building or grounds, disorderly and disruptive conduct in a restricted building or grounds, and disorderly conduct in a Capitol building.

The FBI arrested Christopher Jordan in St. George, Utah. Earl Jordan was arrested in Spencer.

Federal authorities say that in the 44 months since January 6, 2021, more than 1,500 people have been charged in nearly all 50 states with crimes related to the breach of the U.S. Capitol, including more than 560 people with assault or obstruction of law enforcement . The investigation is ongoing.
