Pittsburgh Steelers legend announces fight against former Bengals WR

PITTSBURGH – The NFL world will get a taste of more MMA this winter as Pittsburgh Steelers legend James Harrison announced that he and former Cincinnati Bengals star Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson will fight ahead of the Super Bowl in New Orleans would enter the ring.

Johnson announced the game on Twitter. Harrison then responded, sending a stern message to his former rival: “You won't be able to stand when I'm done with you.”

Harrison said the game will last five rounds.

This came after Johnson made comments on Inside the NFL about how he intimidated players before games between the Bengals and Steelers. The show then cut to a video of Johnson and Harrison getting into a scrum before kickoff.

A promoter has not confirmed the fight or the date, so it is currently word of mouth between the two former superstars. But there is hardly anything that could sound more exciting than the two going head-to-head before kick-off.

If the entertainment industry knew what it was doing, it wouldn't hesitate to take up this fight. Football fans are always interested in former players, and when you put someone with a huge podcast and analyst following like Johnson against one of the scariest football players of all time, Harrison, fans will watch.
