The Boston Celtics' quest for a repeat performance begins overseas.

The reigning NBA champions landed in Abu Dhabi earlier this week to prepare for two preseason games against the 2023 champions, the Denver Nuggets. It is the third year in a row that the NBA has hosted exhibition competitions in the capital of the United Arab Emirates, but this is the first matchup between the league's last two champions.

The action begins on Friday, October 4th with Game 1 of the Celtics-Nuggets at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. Game 2 is scheduled for Sunday, October 6th. Both games will air on NBC Sports Boston, which will also provide exclusive pre- and post-game coverage.

When will Celtics vs. Nuggets take place in Abu Dhabi?

Game 1 is scheduled for Friday, October 4th at 12pm ET at Etihad Arena. NBC Sports Boston's coverage begins at 11:30 a.m. ET with a special edition of Celtics Pregame Live.

Game 2 is scheduled for Sunday, October 6th at 10 a.m. ET, with the Celtics pregame beginning live at 9:30 a.m. ET on NBC Sports Boston.
