Support Second Heartland: Hockey star distributes “Apple” donations

Honeybear Brands satisfies hunger with a Pazazz-focused partnership with professional hockey standout Taylor Heise to benefit Second Harvest Heartland.

As part of the Assist Second Harvest campaign, Honeybear will donate 600 pounds of apples every time Heise feeds an assist, also known as an “apple” in hockey, to a teammate during her games this season.

“Apples help our bodies recharge with energy. And who better to remind a health-conscious audience of the health benefits of apples than an elite athlete like Taylor Heise? And she has a genuine desire to be part of a marketing initiative to fight hunger. Women's sports is having a great moment and we're excited to celebrate this while attracting new apple consumers and donating to a good cause,” said Roper.

Retailers carrying Pazazz will benefit from this partnership across social media, PR and in-store assets as Pazazz gains additional ice time with hockey fans and shoppers.
