One was killed in a motorcycle accident in Washington County

ELKINS, Ark. – A Fort Smith man died in a motorcycle accident on Oct. 3.

According to an Arkansas Department of Public Safety report, the accident occurred on Black Oak Road in Elkins, Washington County.

The accident occurred around 11:38 a.m. Oct. 3, the report said. Danny Mays, 70, was traveling east on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle when he left the road and overturned.

The report said conditions were clear and dry. No other vehicles were involved in the accident.
