Shaw was arrested on June 20 and the other three suspects – Orlando May, Allen Marcus Gardner and Samir Green – were arrested on June 13 on murder and attempted carjacking charges.

After a standout career at George County, Daniels played two seasons at Ole Miss before transferring to USM prior to the 2023 season.
