Two were arrested after a shooting in Columbus late last night that left one injured

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) – Two arrests have been made following a shooting at the Budgetel Inn and Suites on Victory Drive in Columbus on Thursday evening.

According to Columbus police, one person was injured in the shooting.

The following two people were arrested and their charges are as follows:

Devante Turner:
• Possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime
• Point a gun at another
• Theft by receipt
• Intentional possession of marijuana
• Possession of Marijuana (Felony)
• Tampering with evidence

Shari Hamilton:
• Serious bodily harm
• Falsely reporting a crime
• Tampering with evidence
• Possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime
• Theft by receipt
• Intentional possession of marijuana
• Possession of Marijuana (Felony)
• VCCSA Schedule II (oxymorphone)
