Marvel fans are torn over the new MCU Hulk casting

The Marvel fanbase is once again divided as they debate casting choices for the new MCU Hulk.

Marvel fans have become accustomed to certain actors playing the roles of certain heroes, and that leads to discomfort with new casting decisions.

Whether we like it or not, the MCU as we know it is coming to an end.

After years of seeing the same faces take on the roles of these beloved characters, the MCU is in for a reboot of sorts.

Have you seen the last trailer? Venom: The Last Dance?

Such a move inevitably requires new actors to take on iconic roles, but fans don't seem to be comfortable with the concept.

On the Marvel Studios Rumors subreddit, Louis_DCVN shared a leak about the new MCU cast for Hulk.

You are not the author of this information, Daniel Richtman is. He is a well-known leaker who some would argue is very credible.

Although he is known to be accurate in his predictions, some fans argue that this is because he “parrots” information rather than discovering it himself.

In an Oct. 3 Twitter post, Richtman said, “Logan Kim (Ghostbusters: Afterlife And Frozen Empire) has been cast as Amadeus Cho in the MCU.”

Just in case your Marvel knowledge is sketchy, Amadeus Cho is/was Hulk in the comics and is a successor to Bruce Banner.

Cho is also much younger than Banner, so casting Logan Kim feels pretty fitting…assuming this news is true.

As the subreddit discussions will show, not everyone is convinced that Kim will play the role.

“90% of shit, him [Richtman] says turns out to be wrong. “The few times he's right, he just parrots that someone else was telling the truth,” he commented with genuine hatred.

Aside from Richtman's credibility, there are also fans who think Kim is a bad choice.

“I didn’t like the acting in this film [Ghostbusters], So I’m not a fan of this choice,” posted toastytoastywarm.

However, as others have mentioned, this leak appears to be “consistent” with other news.

User Miserable_Parking491 said: “This lines up with a leak that recently made the rounds on r/leaksandrumors that Cho was a supporting character or a cameo.” Brave new world.”

Kim may or may not be the next MCU Hulk, but regardless of that fact, fans generally disagree that a new Hulk will be chosen.
