Motorcyclist killed in crash in Massachusetts town, police say – Boston 25 News

STOW, Mass. — A motorcyclist died in a car accident in Stow late Friday afternoon, police said.

Police did not identify the motorcyclist Friday evening until they notified family and friends. The victim's age was also not disclosed.

Around 4:45 p.m. Friday, police and firefighters were called to the area of ​​109 Red Acre Road for a report of a motorcycle accident, Stow Police Chief Michael Sallese said in a statement.

A preliminary investigation revealed the motorcycle struck a tree on the side of Red Acre Road, Sallese said. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. No other vehicles were involved.

The accident remains under investigation by Stow Police with assistance from the Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council Accident Reconstruction Team.
