MPD releases video of an East Memphis credit union robbery suspect who remains at large

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis police have released surveillance footage showing who they believe is a suspect in a robbery at an East Memphis credit union in hopes of identifying him.

According to police, the First South Financial Credit Union, located at 633 South Highland Street, was attacked late Wednesday morning.

An armed robber reportedly held the cashier at gunpoint and demanded money from the drawer.

According to MPD, the man took an undisclosed amount of cash and fled.

The suspect was last seen wearing a red mask, a black hoodie and khaki pants.

According to police, he was armed with a black handgun.

There were no arrests.
