Three people were arrested in Baltimore after a traffic stop led to a chase and weapons recovery

Three people were arrested Thursday evening after a traffic stop on Harford Avenue in Baltimore.

According to police, on October 3, around 9:45 p.m., investigators conducted a traffic stop in the 1100 block of Harford Avenue where two men were located.

The driver of the vehicle ran, officials say.

After a short chase, officers stopped the 20-year-old male driver hiding in a closet in the 1100 block of Abbott Court.

The resident of the home, a 40-year-old woman, was arrested for interference and obstruction.

At the same time, investigators conducted a search of the vehicle and recovered a Ruger LCP .380 under the driver's seat.

Investigators conducted a weapons search on the passenger, a 24-year-old man, and recovered a Glock 23 from his pocket.

All three suspects were arrested without incident and transported to CBIF for processing.
