Man accused of robbing people at gunpoint

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Police arrested a 19-year-old Jonesboro man after allegedly robbing people and holding them at gunpoint.

On Friday, October 4, Craighead County District Judge Tommy Fowler found probable cause to charge Caleb Milon with aggravated robbery, theft of a firearm valued at $2,500 or more and theft of $1,000 or less.

According to the affidavit, Jonesboro police officers were dispatched to an area on Stadium Boulevard on Friday, Sept. 20, in reference to a robbery.

Upon arrival, the victims told police they had been robbed on Keely Drive and left the area after the robbery to report it to police.

The victims said that while driving on Keely Drive, they noticed a man, later identified as Milon, needing a ride.

“As the suspect entered the back seat of the vehicle, he noticed a large amount of money on the center console,” the affidavit states. “The suspect then pulled out a pistol and demanded the money from the victims.”

The victims said that after stealing the money, Milon also stole a handgun that was in the back seat.

Milon then exited the vehicle and the victims chased him.

When the victims confronted Milon, Milon pointed both his own gun and the stolen gun at the victims.

The victims then drove away and Milon fled the area.

Police were told the victims did not know Milon personally but had seen him in the area.

The victims showed police a photo of Milon, which they used to identify him.

On Thursday, September 26, Judge Boling issued an arrest warrant for Milon. According to online jail records, Milon was arrested on Wednesday, October 2nd.

He is currently being held at the Craighead County Detention Center awaiting his court date on November 14th.

Judge Fowler set his bond at $150,000 cash/surety.
