This is big: Zach Top opens for Alan Jackson

The day he was born, doctors couldn't believe it when he came out shouting “Chattahoochee.” Now he will open for The Man himself.

It's a match made in country music heaven. Zach Top is out there reminding the world that the '90s were the last great era of popular country music, and now he'll saddle up with one of the last true torchbearers of the '90s era. Just announced, Zach Top has been added as a direct opener for all of Alan Jackson's upcoming arena shows in 2025.

At the moment, Jackson only has five shows scheduled (see below), but there could be more to come. Independent country songwriter James Carothers will also open before Zach Top. He has become a favorite of the patrons of Alan's AJ's Good Time Bar on Lower Broadway in Nashville.

Zach Top is currently enjoying great popularity, especially as a live artist, with his venues selling out everywhere, including his October 3rd appearance at the Fort Bend County Fair in Texas as well as Billy Bob's Texas in Ft. Value on October 11th. Meanwhile, Top will continue to play opening sets for Lainey Wilson until the end of the year.

“I’m accompanying one of my musical heroes, Mr. Alan Jackson, at a few shows.” says Zach Top. “I don’t want to get ahead of myself, but this may be the country show you see all year next year, so make sure you’re there. I couldn't be more honored. As you can probably guess, Alan Jackson was a huge influence on me.”

Alan Jackson is currently on his Last Call: One More from the Road tour as he continues to struggle with the problems it causes neurological disease CMT. This leaves his touring schedule limited.

All tour dates are now on sale at alanjackson.com/tour.
