Wendy launches the new Frosty Krabby Patty to celebrate Sponge Bob's 25th anniversary

If you've ever wanted to know what a Krabby Patty tastes like, you'll soon get the chance.

Wendy's has announced a partnership with Paramount to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the hit Nickelodeon animated film “SpongeBob SquarePants” with the launch of the “Krabby Patty Kollab.”

The collaboration, available October 8 in the U.S., Canada and Guam, features two menu items: a Krabby Patty Kollab Burger and Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty.

“In a world where people go all out, Wendy's is known for quality in everything we do – from our fresh, famous food to our collaborations with brands our fans love,” said Lindsay Radkoski, US Chief Marketing Officer of The Wendy's Company a press release. “That’s why it makes sense that two of pop culture’s most iconic places are joining forces to bring fans of all ages a taste of this unique, limited-time experience to life!”

Here's what you should know about the Krabby Patty Kollab:

  • Pineapple under the frosty sea: The Pineapple Under the Sea Frosty is the iconic Vanilla Frosty with a pineapple mango flavored puree swirl.
  • Krabby Patty Collab Burger: Wendy's version of a Krabby Patty consists of a quarter pound of beef and two slices of American cheese, crisp lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, onions, and a top-secret shrimp kolab sauce on a toasted bun.
