The accident in west Phoenix involved two vehicles, including a fire truck

PHOENIX – An accident involving a car and a fire truck occurred in west Phoenix on Friday evening.

According to footage obtained by Sky12, a car and a fire truck appear to be involved in an accident near 43rd Avenue and Thomas Road. Several emergency vehicles and police officers are on site.

The Phoenix Fire Department told 12News one person was taken to the hospital in stable condition and no firefighters were injured. No further information was provided.
