Police say the motorcyclist suffered “serious” injuries after the crash in Spring Valley

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Las Vegas police said a motorcyclist failed to stop at a stop sign, leading to a crash in the Spring Valley area.

According to police, the accident occurred around 4:45 p.m. Friday at Sepulveda and Foothill boulevards.

According to police, a 48-year-old man was riding a 2016 Zero motorcycle eastbound on Foothill Boulevard. A 56-year-old man was driving a PT Cruiser northbound on Sepulveda Boulevard.

An accident occurred when the motorcycle failed to stop at a stop sign. He entered the intersection and got into the path of the patrol car.

The motorcyclist was transported by medical personnel to UMC Trauma with “serious” injuries. The driver of the Chrysler remained at the scene and completed alcohol tests satisfactorily.

“This collision remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Collision Investigation Division,” police said.
